10th Update Course for scrub
nurses in Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery
Next update course for scrub nurses in
Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery organised by the Spanish Traumatology and
Orthopaedic Nursing Association AEETO (Asociación Española de Enfermería en
Traumatología y Ortopedia) will be from 22nd to 24th of
October 2014 in Fuenlabrada Hospital. This course is accredited by the
Commission of Continuous Health Professional Training of Madrid (Comisión de
Formación Continuada de los Profesionales Sanitarios de la Comunidad de Madrid,
Sistema Nacional de Salud) with 4.3 Credits CFC EXP-07-AFOC-03458.8/2014.
Elena Miguel is the educational coordinator of
these courses. She always seeks new topics for the nursing courses each year. During
this course the participants will be able learn among others about:
- Kyphoplasty
- Limb replantation
- Custom prosthesis (hip and knee)
- Obtaining stem cells
- Knee prosthesis with navigator
She expects all students to learn new knowledge
and acquire new skills in this theoretical and practical course.
